I am writing this answering every 59 ways you can succeed in business posts that there are on the internet. Because I propose there is one! There is one sure fire way to make money online in a recession proof business, and I think your business, life, and lifestyle will change if you follow this one critical thing.

True Value is the key to success!

There are many ways to make money online, an example is my lens on squidoo unfortunately for those of us who have legitimate online businesses, there is also a vast sea of takers! There are a lot of things sold that do not have a value any where near the amount that people have paid. Do you agree? I have spent money and when it was said and done, I felt like I had been shorted some how…a few times felt plain ripped off! Have you ever felt that way?

I have and many have..if you buy enough stuff online or off it always happens sooner later, a taker takes a little more than he provided you in value, sometimes there is know value at all! You have been ripped off! Fact is most online business deals on the internet or we all would be rich. We all know this though nothing I have wrote yet is news!

The one thing that we must do to have success in all areas of our business is simple! I hope this next sentence sticks in your mind, either changing or confirming the way you do business.
Always, I repeat Always provide more value in goods or services then your customer gives you in cash.
This is the secret and key to a lasting, long term recession proof business online or off.
When you have a powerful group of raging fans that have received a great product or service valued above what they paid, you will be getting paid over and over again with repeat business.

It has been said and known that word of mouth is the best form of advertising, this is what can happen on the mediums you choose to do business in when all they customers have to say is what a great deal they received and what a bonus was also received.
I propose this as the single most important thing to be done in all of our lives to experience success in all areas.
I am glad to be part on a large group of entrepreneurs that are changing the world by giving, value, purpose and sharing withe world. We can change how the world does business!

This interaction, and the manner in which information is presented, depends on the varied perspectives and “building” of shared meaning among communities, as people share their stories and experiences. Businesses also refer to social media as user-generated content (UGC) or consumer-generated media (CGM).”

Social media is part of the Web 2.0 explosion and the cutting edge in New School methods for growing a network marketing business. In this post we will briefly cover a variety of tools and methods for utilizing social media to grow your MLM business.
Attraction Marketing is the Key to MLM Online Success

If you have not yet heard about attraction marketing, then you must take time to do so. The idea of attraction-based marketing has been around for awhile, but it was not until Mike Dillard synthesized all the information and created his Magnetic Sponsoring course, that the majority of people knew what it was or how to use it.

The idea behind attraction-based marketing or Magnetic Sponsoring is that you use social media to create an strong online presence. You offer value, information and the uniqueness of you in a form that people can grasp. As you develop yourself online and your leadership abilities in the real world, you will attract others to you. This is how you grow you business. People come to you and want to know you, work with you and join you. This is the opposite of old school network marketing where you went after them. It is powerful, clean, refreshing and fun.

The best place to learn about Attraction Marketing is by getting your hands on Dillards Free 7 Video Boot Camp. Once you’ve worked your way through that the next thing to do is to set up an account on a website called Better Networker. This will be your first step in using social media and also the best introduction to attraction marketing in action.

Get onto Better Networker and just look around for a few days. Read the forum posts and the replies. Read some articles. Watch some videos. Take a good look at people’s profiles prior to creating yours. They had a profile contest a few months back with a great tutorial..watch it. As you are finding your way around this site you will be beginning to understand how people present themselves in the social media world without pitching their product or biz. Better Networker is social media. It is a social networking website devoted to network marketers. In many ways it is similar to Facebook or MySpace (also social networking sites), but the audience and participants are hightly targeted.

Twitter (and Social Bookmarking)

There are presently hundreds of sites on the internet that you can use to present youself to your target audience. I use a variety of social bookmarking sites that I post to every time I write a hub or a blog post. Some examples are: Digg, Propeller, Reddit, Stumble-Upon. The list is almost endless. Visit a site called Social Poster.com and you can see a long list of social bookmarketing sites and learn how to post yourself on them.

My favorite place to hang out online these days is Twitter. Twitter scares people initially because it is fast and live. I like to think of it as a big, world-wide online cocktail party/chat. When you first approach twitter it is hard to know what to do. So first (after you creat your twitter profile) visit twitter search and put in a keyword that interests you. Read what comes up and then click on the name of the person who posted(tweeted) click on “follow” under their name. Now whenever you log onto twitter you will see whatever that person has written, appear on your screen. Generally, if you follow them, they will follow you back. This is good.

When you create your Twitter Profile, make sure that you enable direct messaging and email notifications. When someone follows you, follow back and say thanks in a direct message. Soon you will log onto your page and see a flurry of different tweets and conversations going on. This is good. Join in once you feel comfortable. Don’t pitch. Don’t spam. Don’t sell. Just be a real person and interact with the people who are tweeting. Once you get the hang of this you will see that there is a time and place to include links to your blog or website. Twitter is the fastest growing social media on the internet. It can now even interact seamlessly with Facebook if you set it up that way. Many people do a lot of business on Twitter. You should be one of them if you want to grow your network marketing business using social media.
OK..I’m Totally Confused!! What Do I Do Next??

Total confusion is often the reaction to all of this information. Do not worry. You are not lacking in brain cells. Using social media is very confusing initially and only gets clearer as you work your through it, step-by-step. This is where a good coach/mentor comes into play and a training system. Luckily a man named Mike Klinger saw how confused people were getting and sought to remedy the situation. He created the best social media training that I have yet to see in this industry. It is appropriated called a ” University”.

Renegade University is an amazingly complete online classroom. There are step-by-step video tutorials for every aspect of using social media to create your online presence and grow your network marketing company. The beauty is that you can work through the training at your own pace AND do the steps on your computer while Klinger is walking you through them in the video. It is almost like having a teacher sitting next to your computer with you.

Renegade University did not exist when I began my social media journey. I learned each step by trial and error and honestly it took months to really feel a conceptual and practical understanding of the whole thing. By using Renegade University, if you put your mind to it, you can have the basics of your social media system up and working for you in a month. But remember..it is like going to school You have to learn, study, and take action.

Social media is changing the face of network marketing. You will never need to sell to your family and friends again. You will meet people from all over the world. You will be amazed at what can happen..if you are diligent and patient. Growing you network marketing business using social media is a process. You start at the beginning and add on over time. The results start slowly and increase faster and faster as you become more and more competent. This is a New World. Welcome!

No! Of course not! So then why are we compelled to even read this? Are you spending, losing or making money online? What is your intention?

Fact is there is a vast multitude of people that spend or lose money online every day. Not me you say, but think about it, do you have a internet connection? Most likely yes. You already have an investment! There are a large percentage of people that use the internet for fun and entertainment, I understand that. Still they are spending, or for this articles sake, losing money online. So at the minimum the cheapest paid internet connection is $9.99. From there the price goes up, I pay about 69.99 ( or my wife does actually!) to be online for fun, entertainment or for business purposes.Unless you are patched in on the side(it happens!) you are spending something to be here.

The next one is really my focus. A vast multitude of web surfers that buy the latest system, download it and look for another! THERE IS NO INSTANT FIX!

Spending money on every cool, instant get rich, get traffic, get popular system is the basis of losing money online. Most do not work or every one would be rich that had a internet connection.

If you spend money to be online and just enjoy it no problem, it is your money. In fact you could just click on out of here and blip a song (thats a blast by the way!)

I have decided last year I would invest! Invest time, talent and yes money online to build a bigger future for my family and my enjoyment!

If your intent was to spend or “lose ” money online no problem but if your intent was to make money then read closely the points I am about to make, listen a little closer and join us who are making money online!

If you have been losing money online, trying to make some STOP! The get rich quick schemes that I have seen do not work! If you have one that is making you over $10,000 a month then email me now! Fact is they do not work. Stop being compelled to buy the latest “be a millionaire  in two days” systems. The huge marketers know that a percentage will buy and make a ton of money that way. Just quit!

Real business takes an investment, real world businesses spend money to make money right? The unique thing about internet business is that you can start with a minimal initial investment. You can start with very little money, invest a lot of time and have a profitable recession proof online business very quickly! The more money you can invest the less of your time you will have to invest.

Here are the five basic steps to build a real profitable internet business.

1. Build- You have to stop chasing the dollar for a while, focus on a genuine business, niche, or product and build! Two choices here, invest time or money into that chosen business, niche or product. Which you have the most of will determine what you will have to invest. Build a website, build your brand and start a real business!
2. Attract- Make no mistake in the order here! Most new fired up wanna be, or going to be marketers get this backwards. The natural is to chase the dollar and sell. Again I say STOP! Attract new friends, new ones, to your business. There hundreds of ways to do this. This will not be a complete list by far. Talk to people have genuine interest in them, people love to talk about themselves and are attracted to someone who will listen. Use the plethora of social networking sites to build friendships. But focus on quality here. It doesn’t take much to form a little tiny bond with someone, and when they ask about that link on your profile, mine is http://www.squidoo.com/Making-Money-Online-1, then it is time for step four.
3. Market- You can market a thousand different ways but the saying “build it and they will come” was not about internet business. It is true and a essential that a site with great SEO will get free traffic. That is a topic for another day, I have a short post on that also at http://recessionbusters.biz/wordpress/?p=123 . You will have to send your pitch though and market, talk to your group of friends, post links, share your business with them. Write articles and post them at all the article sites you can. I ask for help on the social media sites I live on, people respond big when you are genuine, offering a genuine product with value. Add your website info in your signature for the emails you send. You have to get the word out, be creative and even make new ways to market your new business!
4. Sell- There comes a time to ask for the sale. You can develop your site to do this for you. Some people will just have to be asked and will jump on board. When the time is right, the iron is hot ask for the sale! Thats why we did the first steps all that hard work or money invested, sell!
5. Repeat- Yes as you grow in your knowledge and experience some success pour that back in to your business and watch it grow! This grows exponentially as your business grows. It can happen very fast depending on your initial investment. Keep repeating these steps until you want to quit, sell or move on. Never, never forget the people that helped out in your beginning though. Be grateful and  above all be real!

It is time for a change, a new breed of internet marketers that add great value to their community. This is just a small list of ways you can STOP losing money online and start making money online in a real recession proof business. There are many pitfalls and bunny trails along the way, I hope you focus and succeed this next year! I will do what I can to help as I am still committed to your success!

I just had to do this, I saw postings of but did not read a few blogs whose titles were, 6 reasons Christmas sucks…Why I hate the Holidays or something like that.

Oh come on! The holiday in itself is a fun time! Here are my personal reasons to love Christmas…

• Time Off-  I remember the days before I was in business, or even farther back in school. Yo-Hoo, vacation time off, a break, come on every one likes a break today. In business we just have to draw the line (can I draw a line?) and say this is my time off period. I will probably Twitter a little but NO Work. its a holiday!
• Great Food-  every year there is a bunch of great homemade stuff every where I go to enjoy. Not to mention the great meals that are prepared and enjoyed by many during Christmas. I look forward to some treats and great meals during the holidays…mmmm good!
• Friends- Great times to spend with friends during Christmas enjoying each others company and hanging out.
• Family- I know this is a hard one for those who have lost precious family. It is also a dreaded time for some because of the relatives that drive you crazy! The times are so valuable though that you can spend with your family at Christmas, there is a limited time we get to enjoy this bond here on earth. Sit down and listen to that story Uncle Freddy wants to tell you again for the hundredth time, make it your present to him! They wont be around forever!
• Decorations- Come on even this ole bristled biker loves the trees, ornaments, smells and lights that come out during Christmas. Neighborhoods and houses become a once a year tourist attraction. Take a drive check some lights out!
• Attitude- people must sub consciously know Santa is really watching. Not everyone of course, but people seem generally friendlier, happier around this time!
• Presents- Now to what you were really thinking.. stuff, wrapping, bows and cool presents! The real deal is watching a face light up when you have given something really neat and the receiver smiles a smile that will light up the room. It is great to get cool stuff but really is better to give than receive, a wonderful feeling that should have more often but is really prevalent at Christmas!
• Hope- Last and most important to me is that this is the holiday which brings to light the hope of this world. The birth of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you are working on getting targeted traffic then most likely you are concerned with search engine optimization techniques. SEO is marketed and treated like a secret science by many who have mastered it and are making money from the benefits. It is a science yet the secret part is hype to make money! SEO is an integrated part of a recession proof business that makes money online.

If you are working on getting targeted traffic then most likely you are concerned with search engine optimization techniques. SEO is marketed and treated like a secret science by many who have mastered it and are making money from the benefits. It is a science yet the secret part is hype to make money! SEO is an integrated part of a recession proof business that makes money online.

The benefits of SEO are great as it brings free traffic, targeted traffic that is looking for what you are selling. It is very worthwhile pursuing to bring your sites to the front of search engine pages.

This is a brief overview of the techniques and it does change often.

1. Select your keywords carefully! Choose one set of keywords that fit your niche and what you are selling. It is better to choose long tailed key words that you can rank higher in. I use recession proof online business instead on “make money” on some sites. Specific instead of general terms.
2. Make sure your keywords are relevant to your site, sounds simple and this is. Yes if you are selling black high top biker boots then that should be your keywords.
3. Put your keywords in the right places. In your URL, title, heading, body, meta description, image tags and alt text. Do not add too much once in each place, every other paragraph of text. The key is a natural balance.
4. Get rid of the junk! Drop downs, scripts, flash intros in my opinion hinder the search engine spiders from finding and ranking your page. Simple is good. Study high ranking sites for their placement.
5. Keep the bots coming back. Refresh your pages! The more times the spiders find new relevant content the higher your rankings will soar, bringing more free traffic. Free targeted traffic is the goal of SEO optimization.
6. Good incoming links, these come from blog postings, submitting articles, social networking posts all can add incoming links. Don’t waste time trading links or buying them. It is so easy to write some small articles and submit them to a bunch of article sites.
7. Use a site map, this makes it a breeze for the spiders to crawl your website and find all of those keywords you have scattered thru your sites. Google has a site map tool which I use for this purpose. Here is a link ->> https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/docs/en/sitemap-generator.html

Number One- Always greet your new followers! Depending on how many people start to follow you, that will determine whether you do it manually or use a program like Tweetlater to welcome new followers. Tweetlater is nice because as soon as they follow you a message goes out introducing yourself and thanking them. Resist the urge to post a link in this thank you message! How would it be when someone shook your hand for the first time they then tried to sell you something in the next sentence! A lot of people do post a link or a give away or anything, but I say be friendly, say hello let them come to you. This is far more effective than blasting a new person before they have heard a word that you have said…

Number Two- Be sure to post valuable information, interesting articles, photos, video links, music links. Give something of value to keep people interested. Insert links, affiliate links, the things that you sell sparingly or what the community will absorb. Keep them wondering what you will come up with. Google news reader is what I use mainly for this. Set it up to receive different RSS feeds from news, blogs or what ever might be interesting and apply to their lives. Its not always about what we like, I am the worst at this! My followers do hear a lot of motorcycle related stuff, I try not to over do it. Give them something of value for listening to your posts.

Number Three- Keep the personal stuff to a minimum, there needs to be some real life stuff that relates to your readers and prove you are not a post generating robot. My goodness not many want to know that much, I stubbed my toe, oh I put salt on my eggs, Come on.. Use discretion, be personal, and share when asked but don’t blog every breath the new puppy takes. I think you get this!

Number Four- Double check your posts for spelling, grammar, accuracy and by all means make sure the link works! You don’t have to be a scholar, or have perfect English grammar. I know mine is really rough! Do your best though, what you say and how you say it is all people have to judge you by. Not many successful first grader marketers out there. What I am saying is be a professional, if you want people to take you seriously! Double check the link after you have posted it! I am telling you, we all have posted bad ones and it looks very slip shod. Who wants to hook up and buy something from a third rate marketer. OK enough on that, one of my pet peeves.

Number Five- In this list anyway, answer your messages as quickly as you are able. Strike while the iron is hot! I do not mean just answer those that look like customers. Some of the people I spend the most time on messaging and the phone never really make a bunch of sales. People just want to be heard, answer your phone calls, messages and your messages posted as soon as possible. Do not try to evaluate the person asking right away, or wait if you can reply. To be a professional we must answer all reasonable questions and be polite.

Treat people with respect. Treat them like you want to be treated and enjoy great success in your social networking adventures.

There is so much in this country and in my life that I take for granted some times. I get caught up in my world and what I need, or is it want?

I have all the amenities of the wealthy in our world, heat, indoor plumbing, fresh water. Do I need to go on. This is just the start of a list so long of blessings that I enjoy everyday and don’t give much of a thought to usually…

How many of us tend to forget…

I do! I want this, need that, ohhh got to have this………there is more to life that the amount or quality of things a man has. Yes things can be great but people are the only thing that really matter. The people I have in my life are fantastic! I am so thankful for every one of them.

I am blessed with a home, good roof over my head, transportation, fast bikes, what ever food i want, usually, and more importantly great family and friends that are always there. That is success! Now doesn’t mean I am just going to stagnate. Because as I grow and can help more people then the more there is to be thankful for huh. Isn’t that truly our goal, to improve the quality of our lives to the point where we can help and bless others. That is the life my friends! The life we will be happy with is one that is given in helping others.
i know we can do a lot more. I am amazed at how we can band together to help others in social media. It is awesome, helping the Domestic Divas daughter to find a donor, the response was a great revelation to the online communities we are building.

Ask yourself.. Why am I here? Why am I building this online presence? What am I investing in?

When the answer is it is for me alone and my gain, our success will be limited,  I believe. When  our answer is to better our selves to help others more, then we are tapping into the power of giving and gratefulness.

Let us use our presence in the world to help others, together our power is amazing to me.

The world is a better place when we all pitch in!

Trying to share what we have been given, that gives us even more to be thankful for.
